What does pressure washing work on?

Concrete – Driveways, patios, paths, roofs, car parks, staircases and buildings

We see concrete everywhere — driveways, patios, even car parks. It handles high pressure very well, and benefits from powerful cleaning. We use top gear to clean these areas. Dirt sticks to concrete’s texture, but our methods clear it up well.

Metal – Railings, roofs, sheds, staircases, buildings and BBQs

Pressure washing works great on metal. If there’s paint, we go easy. Strong washing might remove paint, so we wash gently when needed. We’re trained to handle metal right.

Stone – Driveways, patios, edgings, ornamental stone walls, buildings

For driveways, patios, and walls, stone really shines when it’s clean. But green stuff and mould can cover up its beautiful colours. Stone, however, is a more delicate material that must be cleaned with care. Various types of stone have their own cleaning needs, so we turn down the pressure and use gentle chemicals with plenty of elbow-grease.

Wood is a lovely material we’re asked to clean, and it’s also the softest. Because wood can be damaged easily, we can’t use high pressure. So, we use an even lower pressure setting and other specialist cleaning equipment. We sometimes use cleaning chemicals and fungicides to make sure we don’t cause much damage.
